Don’t put off today what He calls us to do thinking we will have tomorrow…to share, to pray, to serve. Tomorrow may not come. Today is here!
Proverbs 27:1-2
“Do not boast about tomorrow – for you do not know what a day may bring forth”.
Boast means to praise oneself extravagantly – with excessive pride
Putting too much faith in ourselves and our own abilities to think we can impact/change the future without recognizing God is the only one who controls tomorrow
Matthew 6:31-34
Seek Him and follow where He leads today! Don’t worry about the outer clothes, food, etc – Trust Him with today and don’t be distracted by tomorrow.
James 4:13-15
Tells us it’s ok to plan ahead but don’t exclude God from your plans.
